Penn State World Campus is the online campus of The Pennsylvania State University. We offer more than 200 regionally accredited undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs. Our students come from all 50 states, and more than 40 countries on all seven continents.
Mission
Founded in 1998, Penn State’s online campus grew out of the university's long and distinguished history in distance education, which dates back to 1892. The mission of Penn State World Campus is to extend Penn State's undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs to learners who are unable to access other Penn State campuses due to geographic limitations.
